Lakota Solar Enterprises is located on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. We believe that reducing our dependence on fossil fuels is important and on tribal lands, it is necessary.
We hope you will join us today in helping tribes lower their heating bills and achieving energy independence.
Tribes spend millions of dollars every year in propane and electrical heating cost. With our supplemental solar powered furnaces, homeowners can save 20-30% on their annual heating bills for up to 20 years!
These supplemental solar air heating units are inexpensive, simple to use, and an environmentally sound way to lower heating bills and bring comfort to families struggling to heat their homes during the bitter winter months.
Our Off-Grid Solar Furnaces are designed with simplicity and affordability in mind. The 4' x 8' solar heating panel is mounted and installed next to the south side of the house, where it absorbs heat from the sun. The system is connected to the house by two air ducts and whenever the air inside the solar panel is warmer than the temperature set on the thermostat, a solar powered blower turns on and hot air , up to 110 degrees, is pushed into the house.
Cost per unit:
$3,000 per complete system for 1-10 systems
$2,700 for 11-20 systems (10% discount)
$2,550 for 21 or more systems (15% discount)
Shipping or Delivery cost: varies depening upon distance and location.
Installation: Lakota Soalr Enterprise crew or we can train local tribal members to install them.
