What began as weatherization has grown into a movement for energy sovereignty, ensuring that families aren’t just surviving winters and summers, but thriving in homes that conserve energy, cut utility costs, and create healthier living environments. By upgrading insulation, sealing leaks, and modernizing heating systems, we give families immediate relief while strengthening long-term energy independence for Native communities.

ENERGY AUDITS

An energy audit is a thorough assessment of a building's energy consumption and efficiency, aimed at identifying areas where energy is being wasted and opportunities for improving energy performance. This process is essential for reducing energy costs, improving comfort, and lowering environmental impact. Here's a detailed breakdown of what an energy audit typically involves:

1. Initial Assessment

  • The energy audit begins with gathering information about the building, including its size, age, construction type, and energy systems (heating, cooling, lighting, etc.).
